PROMOTING MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS AND SAVING LIVES
by giving children and teens creative outlets and resources for dealing with depression and anxiety.
Why We Exist / Our Mission / Our Approach
Children in the United States are experiencing a mental health crisis, with rates of anxiety and depression at unprecedented levels.
An estimated 3.2 million adolescents aged 12 to 17 in the United States have had at least one major depressive episode.
Enrollees receive their "golden ticket" into the summer program.
Social media post from a proud parent:
This summer my daughter Jael had the AMAZING opportunity to do a paid writing internship with one of her favorite authors @authorlbanne
My eyes watered a bit when I saw my daughter write out “I will be someone’s favorite author.” #bestillmyheart
It was an exercise they did in one of her online sessions with LB Anne around mindset.
Jael has loved LB Anne’s Sheens Meyer series and when I found out LB was doing a teen summer internship I knew Jael would flourish in it. We were so excited when she got in.
Jael learned soo much about writing and publishing a book. She’s writing two fiction stories already & illustrating one. Jael will do great things! The Fabien family will be someone’s favorite author. I believe it! Thank you again @authorlbanne
You are enough, you are good enough, you are smart enough, you are strong enough, you are beautiful enough, you are kind enough, you are brave enough. You are enough. And always will be.
